The conception of West Coast Hot Wings, LLC began to marinate in the mind of Ken Rolle, a Network Architect
by profession, in 2003 after taking multiple business trips to
Ken’s business trips back to
VA became more and more infrequent, yet the taste that he’d acquired for hot
wings never dissipated. He began his
pursuit locally to try and find a comparable hot wing on the West Coast that
would at least meet and hopefully exceed what he’d eaten on the East Coast. After eating a variety of hot wings at various
establishments throughout Southern California, all the wings that he’d eaten lacked
the excellent taste of hot wings that he’d eaten in
When Ken began to develop and
enhance his culinary skills, he made a conscious decision to incorporate a level
of high standards into both the quality ingredients that he used in creating
his unique variety of sauces, as well as being consistent in providing only fresh
(not frozen) and tender chicken wings.
At various get-togethers,
where family and friends were in attendance, he’d introduce them to a variety
of his secret sauces. Having his creations sampled provided him with a catalyst
of sorts toward also having his wings critiqued, which brought forth not only rave
reviews, as well as being asked when he was going to make some more.
As time progressed he
realized that it was time to take the next step toward expanding his hot wing horizons,
so he took a variety of his hot wings to his business associates to try. The
tone of this experiment was received with so much enthusiasm and positive feedback,
providing him with a wealth of information on just how much they’d enjoyed
eating his tender and tasty hot wings, which were referenced as being unlike
any wings that they’d ever eaten before! Once again one lingering question was
posed, where and when could they get some more?
He promptly realized how valuable and reinforcing everyone’s input was, which quickly become the matrix that
helped to propel him toward establishing his defined presence in the hot wing
arena on the West Coast.
Although his initial endeavor
has been years in the making, he never lost sight of his intended goal, which
is to consistently provide delicious hot wings, made fresh daily, at reasonable
prices. 10 flavors of wings are served
by West Coast Hot Wings along with a BBQ menu.
